How long is each therapy session?
As a Registered Psychologist, session lengths are typically either 60 or 90 minutes in length. 50 minutes is set aside for therapy and final 5-10 minutes for payment processing/note taking.

What are your rates? Do you provide receipts for medical/insurance reimbursement?
60-minute individual therapy session (face-to-face) is $200
60 minute individual therapy session (virtual [phone, Telehealth]) is $200
Receipts are provided following payment processing and list Andre Benoit's qualifications to help with the insurance reimbursement process.

What methods of payment do you accept?
Preferred payment method is through E-transfer. Otherwise, credit card payment is accepted, as well as automatic payment through Jane booking site. Deep Roots Therapies will ask upfront for a valid credit card number to be provided to cover potential fees/charges.
Paperwork? Appointment Booking? What is Jane?
Deep Roots therapies uses a secure, online file management system called Jane. This helps make it easy to book an appointment online, receive email and text appointment reminders, pay for sessions and receive invoices, as well as minimizes paperwork/forms. All of your information is encrypted, and secure using a validated online platform, compliant with Canadian standards. If you have questions, please let me know.
If you need to change or reschedule your appointment please ensure your email is received prior to the 24 hours cut off time to avoid any late cancellation/no show fees.
Where is your office located?
As of February 1st, 2022, my office will be located at 8th floor of McFarlane Tower at 840-700 4th Ave SW, Calgary, AB - the intersection is 4th AVE SW and 6th ST SW. There is side street metered parking available.
Until then I will be offering phone/virtual sessions. Contact me to schedule.
What if I cancel/miss an appointment?
A late cancellation/no show fee of the full appointment session fee will apply for all appointments rescheduled/cancelled/no showed within 24 hours of the originally confirmed booked appointment time. This fee can be paid by E-transfer or Credit Card.
A confirmation email as well as text reminder is sent prior to your session to minimize no shows.
Please note that due to the high demand and volume of inquiries, I will respond to all emails and voicemails within 1 business day. If it takes longer than this, I likely have not received your communication, so please contact me again.
I do not consistently have an opportunity to respond over the weekend, so please note any emails or phone calls received over the weekend will be responded to by Tuesday (at the latest). Email is the best method of contact.
